By using GRID or any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GRID ("the Service"), the GRID website, or any related services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Risk Disclosure.
You represent that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Are not located in a jurisdiction where use of the Service is prohibited
- Are not on any sanctions list or otherwise prohibited from engaging in cryptocurrency transactions
2. Service Description
GRID is an automated trading bot that operates on your behalf:
- Automated Liquidity Provision: Opens and manages concentrated liquidity positions on Orca Whirlpools
- Delta-Managed Hedging: Opens perpetual futures positions on Drift Protocol to offset directional exposure
- Yield Generation: Collects trading fees from liquidity provision on your account
Non-Custodial Service
GRID operates as a non-custodial service. The bot trades on your account using delegated authority. You maintain control of your wallet and funds at all times. Your keys, your coins.
3. No Investment Advice
Nothing in these Terms, on our website, or in any communication from GRID constitutes:
- Investment advice
- Financial advice
- Trading advice
- Tax advice
- Legal advice
- Any recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency
GRID is experimental software. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Always do your own research and consult with qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
4. Risk Acknowledgment
You acknowledge and accept that:
- No Guaranteed Returns: There is no guarantee of profits or returns. You may lose some or all of your deposited funds.
- Experimental Technology: DeFi protocols are experimental. Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities.
- Market Volatility: Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. Values can fluctuate dramatically.
- Regulatory Uncertainty: The regulatory status of cryptocurrencies and DeFi is unclear and evolving.

5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Wallet Security
- Securing your private keys and seed phrases
- Using hardware wallets or other secure storage methods
- Protecting your wallet from unauthorized access
Due Diligence
- Understanding how the Service works before using it
- Reviewing all relevant documentation
- Assessing whether the Service is suitable for your circumstances
Compliance
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- Determining and paying any taxes owed on trading profits
- Not using the Service for illegal purposes
Technical Requirements
- Maintaining a secure internet connection
- Using compatible wallet software
- Keeping your software and systems updated
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:

- Attempt to exploit, hack, or manipulate the Service or connected smart contracts

- Reverse engineer our proprietary systems (note: smart contracts are on-chain and publicly viewable)
Open source components are licensed under their respective licenses.
8. Disclaimers
"As Is" Provision
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or completeness of information
Third-Party Services
GRID interacts with third-party protocols (Orca, Drift, Pyth). We are not responsible for:
- Bugs or vulnerabilities in third-party code
- Downtime or unavailability of third-party services
- Changes to third-party protocols
- Losses arising from third-party protocol failures
No Guarantee of Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The bot may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRID, its developers, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages
- Loss of profits, data, tokens, or other assets
- Business interruption
- Any damages arising from your use of the Service
This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GRID, its developers, contributors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service

- Your violation of any applicable laws
- Any claims by third parties related to your activities

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Service. You retain full access to withdraw your funds from your wallet.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
